Well, Christmas Day is just about over. Spent the day with wife and kids opening presents and then playing with them. Kids make Christmas so much fun. The unbridled joy, enthusiasm and energy (whew!) that they bring to the table is unmatched. Once the presents were opened, spent a good portion of the day getting the toys out of their packaging (they don't make getting toys unwrapped easy anymore!) and trying to edit the video of the morning's festivities with the kids. And, the "dusting" of snow that was forecast for the morning has turned into over a foot of accummulation, and as of it turning dark it was still falling.
We were able to get up to the mountains five days earlier. With some of my time off for the holidays, went up to Breckenridge for a day of winter play. Failed at our attempt at snowshoeing, but had a blast sledding at Carter Park.
Hope everyone had a Christmas that a child did/could enjoy.
